Dr. Roya Caloia, DO, MPH, FACEP, FAAEM, is a distinguished emergency medicine physician whose career exemplifies a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and dedication to public health education. As Vice Chair of the National Clinical Governance Board and National Director of Clinical Education for US Acute Care Solutions, Dr. Caloia plays a pivotal role in shaping emergency medicine practices nationwide. She serves as an emergency medicine physician and core faculty for the EM Residency at Ascension Genesys Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI, where she combines her clinical skills with her passion for teaching. Dr. Caloia's journey in healthcare began at the University of Miami, where she worked as a health counselor, igniting her interest in public health. This experience led her to pursue a Master of Public Health from Florida International University before obtaining her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
